cooling method
1) Cooling: When the motor is performing energy conversion, there is always a small amount of loss converted into heat. It must constantly dissipate heat through the motor casing and the surrounding medium. This process of dissipating heat is called cooling.
2) Cooling medium: a gas or liquid medium that transfers heat.
3) Primary cooling medium: A gas or liquid medium whose temperature is lower than a certain part of the motor. It comes into contact with this part of the motor and carries away the heat it releases.
4) Secondary cooling medium: a gas or liquid medium whose temperature is lower than that of the primary cooling medium, and the heat released from the primary cooling medium is carried away by the outer surface of the motor or the cooler.
5) Final cooling medium: Heat is transferred to the final cooling medium.
6) Ambient cooling medium: a gaseous or liquid medium in the environment surrounding the motor.
7) Distant media: A medium away from the motor that draws heat from the motor through the inlet and outlet pipes or passages and discharges the cooling medium to a remote location.
8) Cooler: A device that transfers heat from one cooling medium to another and keeps the two cooling media separate.
Is there a difference between a motor and a motor?
The motor includes an electric motor and a generator. It is a general term for generators and motors, and the two are conceptually different.
The motor is only one type of motor running mode, except that the motor runs in the electric mode, which converts the electric energy into other forms of energy; the other mode of operation of the electric motor is the generator, which is operated in the mode of generating electricity, and other forms. The energy is converted into electrical energy.
However, some motors, such as synchronous motors, are generally used as generators, but they can also be used directly as motors. Asynchronous motors are more used for electric motors, but they can also be used as generators by adding simple external components.
