Causes and solutions for excessive temperature rise of China micro dc motor
The reason why the DC motor motor is too hot:
The use of DC geared motors sometimes causes overheating, which may be caused by improper use conditions or motor failure. For example, the components are damaged and worn, the voltage is too high, the motor is short-circuited, and the coil is loose.
Solution for overheating of DC geared motor:
1. The bearing is damaged or the wear is too large, so that the stator and the rotor are rubbed against each other, and the bearing can be checked for looseness, and the stator and the rotor are poorly assembled;
2. If the voltage exceeds 10% of the rated voltage of the DC motor, or less than 5% of the rated voltage of the DC motor, the DC motor is prone to heat under the rated load, and the temperature rise is increased. The voltage should be checked and adjusted.
3. When the stator windings are short-circuited or grounded between turns, the current is increased, and the loss is increased and overheated. If the fault is not serious, just re-inser the insulation, and the winding should be replaced seriously;
4. The cage rotor broken strip or the wound rotor coil joint is loose, causing the maintenance network current to be too large and heating. The copper strip rotor can be repaired or replaced, and the rotor should be replaced for the cast aluminum rotor.
