1. Necessity of online fault diagnosis of wind turbines

As a clean renewable energy, wind energy is receiving more and more attention from all countries in the world. At the same time of the rapid development of wind power generation, the problems exposed during the operation of wind turbines are becoming more and more prominent, especially the failure of key mechanical components leads to abnormal shutdown and maintenance of the unit, which seriously reduces the power generation efficiency. Due to the inconvenience of maintenance caused by the failure of the wind turbine, the application problem is increasingly prominent. For example, how to improve the utilization rate of wind turbines, how to reduce the accident rate and downtime of wind turbines, and how to improve the safe and healthy operation of wind turbines' regular maintenance equipment. In addition, due to the increasing power of a single fan, the maintenance cost after the failure of the fan is also increasing. Therefore, in-depth study of wind turbine online fault diagnosis technology to develop technical equipment suitable for on-line fault diagnosis of wind turbines, to achieve online fault diagnosis for faulty parts that may endanger safety, to issue early warnings for major faults that will occur. It has become one of the urgent problems that the wind power industry is currently facing in order to reduce the accident rate and downtime of wind turbines, reduce maintenance costs, maintain maintenance, and improve power generation efficiency and economic benefits.

2. Current maintenance mode of wind TV group

At present, China's wind turbine maintenance mainly adopts two methods. The main methods are manual experience or offline detection equipment. The respective characteristics are as follows:

(1) Regular maintenance, that is, maintenance of the wind turbine at regular intervals. Regular maintenance is mainly based on the relevant procedures for fan maintenance and maintenance. The fan is repaired, such as replacing grease, and whether there is abnormal noise when the fan is running. Regular maintenance depends on the experience of people and the level of work results vary from person to person. It is difficult to find the bearing and gear faults enclosed inside the machine:

(2) Troubleshooting, that is, after-the-fact maintenance. Trouble-shooting mainly refers to the targeted maintenance of faulty components after the failure of the wind turbine. The fault of troubleshooting is that it can not play a role in the sudden failure during the two repairs. It is difficult to track and discover the hidden troubles with long incubation period. Once the hidden danger develops into a major fault before the next inspection, it will cause great losses.
