Motor for household appliances -- Application and standardization
With the improvement of living standard, comfort, convenience, entertainment and enjoyment have become indispensable contents in family life. In addition, it has greatly reduced the labor intensity of housewives. Many devices of household electrical appliances have to have a driving motor which can make them move. This kind of motor is usually small (usually a fractional horsepower motor), and there are many kinds of motors that can be used. It is estimated that there are about 15 to 20 household motors per household in the United States, but in India, the average household in moderately prosperous urban areas is only 5 to 7.
