Brief analysis of the correct removal method of the motor

Brief analysis of the correct removal method of the motor

1. Remove the pulley or coupling

Mark the front and back of the pulley or coupling before disassembly and measure their position on the shaft. Then remove the compression screw and inject a small amount of kerosene into the screw hole. Wait a moment and then pull the pulley or coupling slowly out with a puller (commonly known as the handle, pull plate). In the process of pulling, find the balance of force,

Make the tensioned piece evenly stressed. Finally, don't forget to remove the pulley or coupling key.

2. Disassemble the power and ground wires of the motor

When disassembling the power cord, it must be marked to avoid misalignment of the motor and cause the motor to turn incorrectly.

3. Remove the wind leather and fan

For smaller capacity motors, the fan can be removed without the rotor.

4. Remove the end cap

Before disassembly, mark the joint between the two end caps and the base, and then remove the bearing cap. The front and rear bearing caps should also be marked to avoid mis-installation. After unscrewing the end cap of the end cap, you can use a screwdriver or a flat spatula to gently sway at the joint between the end cap and the base. Remove the end cap. When the end cap is tight, you can also tap it with a hammer. Seam.

If the end cap of the motor is particularly tightly fitted to the base. When it is difficult to disassemble, first remove the fan cover, fan, remove the front bearing cover and the rear cover screw, and then put the planks on the front axle end with a hammer The front end end plank is tapped to disengage the rear end cover from the base and the rear end cover is pulled out of the base with the rotor. The next step is to remove the front cover screws and use the long wooden block to hold the front cover and lower the front cover. Large motor rotors are heavy and should not be used. In addition, when removing the end cover of the wound motor, first remove the connecting wire on the end cover, remove or lift the brush, and wrap the slip ring to avoid damage.

5. Take out the rotor

The rotor of the small capacity motor can be removed by hand. For a slightly larger rotor, a length of iron pipe can be placed at each end of the shaft, and the two lift the rotor and slowly pull it out. After the rotor is removed, it is best to hold one end of the rotor with a piece of wood. Do not place it directly on the ground.

It must be noted that care must be taken during the removal of the rotor so that the stator windings and rotor cores are not damaged. It is best to place a thin layer of cardboard between the stator and the rotor before the rotor is pulled to avoid damage to the stator windings.

6. Disassemble the draw

During overhaul, the bearings are generally removed for cleaning, oiling or replacement according to the situation. Care must be taken when disassembling the bearings. Do not break the reusable bearings during disassembly, causing unnecessary losses.

If there is a puller (commonly known as a puller, pull plate), hook the puller of the puller to the inner ring of the bearing, so that the puller screw is aligned with the center hole of the bearing, parallel to the shaft, and then pull the bearing evenly come out. If there is no puller at the moment, you can use two iron plates to clamp the rotor shaft in the middle. One person holds the iron plate and the rotor, and the other person hits the shaft of the wooden board with a hammer and knocks the bearing out. Pay attention to slowly increase the force to ensure safety.
