Basic requirements for electric hoist motors

Basic requirements for electric hoist motors

The electric hoist plays a big role in the process of using the motor. If the motor of the electric hoist is equipped with a two-speed motor, then it has a fast and slow speed. Its main function is to facilitate the speed of the object. Control, reduce the inertia of the object when lifting, because the rapid inertia is large.

The electric hoist is the most widely used lightweight lifting equipment. Its working characteristics are repeated and repeated for a short time, frequent lifting, reversing and braking, often overloaded, and the working environment is mostly dusty and metal dust environment. Strong vibrations are generated, so in order to meet the needs of electric hoists, the motor as its main source of power should have the following characteristics:

1. Firstly, the electric hoist motor should have stronger intermittent working characteristics than the ordinary industrial motor. According to the load continuation rate, the number of contacts and the number of lifting times, it is an important parameter for the motor selection.

2. The electric hoist motor should have better lifting torque and overload capability.

3. Electric hoist motor has smaller rotor moment of inertia, larger rotor length to diameter ratio, and less line of sight braking.

4. The maximum safe speed of the motor on the electric hoist is several times the rated speed. Under normal circumstances, it is about 2.5 times of the synchronous speed.

5. The electric hoist motor should be adapted to different working temperatures and humidity, and should have the same insulation level of 2 levels.

Due to the continuous development of insulation technology, in the design of the motor, it is required to increase the output and reduce the volume, so that the heat capacity of the new electric hoist motor is getting smaller and smaller, the load capacity is getting weaker and weaker; It is required that the motor often runs in various ways such as frequent starting, braking, forward and reverse rotation, and variable load, which puts higher requirements on the motor protection device.
