Application of PLC and stepping motor in carding machine
This machine is to process the rabbit hair raw material without modification, directly open and comb, and make a certain number of tops. It has the characteristics of large cohesion and true twist, and is made by spinning machine (FNT-28 rabbit). The wool spinning machine, patent number: 9424N73-4) is spun into various sizes of spun yarn. This machine is a national invention patent product (patent number: 93106597-6), the "Eighth Five-Year" National Spark Program, and was also listed as a "Ninth Five-Year Plan" by the State Science and Technology Commission.
The electrical part of the machine adopts a relay control system, and the power drive is completed by a three-phase asynchronous motor. The control system has three shortcomings:
(1) The wiring of the relay circuit is complicated and has a single function. The logic part of the relay contact control system consists of a number of relays; connected in a fixed form. If the process changes, the wiring of the relay control system needs to be changed to meet the new process requirements. The actual operation and maintenance of the workers are complicated and easy to malfunction;
(2) The reliability is not high and the control precision is not enough, which will inevitably affect the output count and the fixed weight;
(3) The relay control cabinet is large in size and occupies a large production space, which affects the operation of workers.
Therefore, it is necessary to modify the control system of this machine. In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology, the application of stepping and servo motors has become more and more extensive, and its functional diversity and product reliability have been improved day by day, and it is gradually replacing the original ordinary motor. Moreover, with the maturity of programmable controller technology, it is becoming a trend to combine the two completely, complete the automatic control of various complex motions, and implement electromechanical integration.
