Short fiber equipment includes two major equipments: pre-spinning and post-spinning. Among them, the post-spinning equipment and processes include: bundling - drafting immersion oil - curling - heat setting - cutting - packing - inspection - finished product - leaving the factory. The most important of these is the process from drafting to crimping. There are four transmission mechanisms (one draft, two drafts, three drafts, and curl) in the process. In the traditional process, a large motor is used. The mechanical gears are used to control 4 drives in a single axis. Due to the weakness of the single-axis transmission, the damage rate is high, the drafting ratio is high, the drafting ratio is difficult to adjust, and the single shaft is easily broken. Therefore, in the currently imported chemical fiber post-spinning equipment, basically independent variable frequency transmission is adopted.

While using independent variable frequency drives, there are two most important issues that must be addressed: (1) power generation and energy feedback; and (2) synchronous drafting. Both of them are due to the needs of the chemical fiber post-spinning process. An important task of the post-spinning is to make the filaments meet the process requirements by different drafting speeds, which leads to one and two drafts often in the power generation state; It is necessary to ensure that the four independent transmissions increase in the same proportion in acceleration and deceleration and constant speed, which leads to the problem of synchronous drafting.
