After a series of storms, the development of China's new energy automobile industry has gradually developed to maturity and stability. It can be said that China has entered the era of new energy vehicles 2.0. Compared with the 1.0 era, the overall development of the new energy vehicle industry will be more mature.

The development of new energy vehicles is a consensus in response to the focus of global countries to address climate change and reduce carbon emissions. For today's cars, it is possible to bring corresponding pollution emissions during use, like hydrocarbons will pollute our air. It is already very clear in China, and the future is mainly to develop pure electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles and fuel cell vehicles.

In the era of new energy vehicles 2.0, the infrastructure of new energy vehicles will be gradually improved, and there will be a leap-forward improvement in core technologies. New energy vehicles will gradually replace traditional cars into the mainstream of the automotive industry, and will be equal to traditional cars in terms of cost and overall performance, and even more cost-effective than traditional cars. Policy interventions will be less and less, and new energy vehicles that follow the laws of the market will usher in a booming situation of “hundred schools of thought”.

China has made great efforts to develop new energy vehicles, and has achieved remarkable results in production and sales. However, in the mastery of core technologies, satisfactory results have not yet been achieved. In order to promote the development of China's power battery core technology, the author would like to make two suggestions.

First of all, play a regulatory role in the "white list" of power batteries. Although the "standard conditions for automotive power battery industry" is not a mandatory standard, it should be used as an important reference. It can keep the inferior battery out of the door and help regulate the power battery market in China. Through the regulation of the "white list", enterprises can eliminate the interference of local protection, and can avoid enterprises to consider problems only from their own perspective, thus promoting the development of China's power battery core technology.

Second, play the role of the national power battery innovation platform. The strength of domestic auto companies is generally weak, and it is impossible to develop batteries separately like Toyota and Volkswagen. Therefore, joint research and development is an effective way. The author believes that the support policy for auto companies should refer to their contribution to the innovation platform. If the innovation platform can achieve major technological breakthroughs, China's battery core technology will not be hollow.

The core technology of the battery is related to whether China's new energy automobile industry can catch up with the automobile power, so it is necessary to plan ahead and prevent the hollowing out of technology.
