8.How to fix a broken hair dryer?
01 The hair dryer is completely unresponsive
The phenomenon of this situation is: the motor does not turn when the hot air gear is turned on, and the heating wire is not hot and there is no cold air.
Step 1: Check whether the home fuse is blown, and replace it if it is blown. If not, continue to check the steps below.
Step 2: Check whether the contact between the hair dryer plug and the switch is good, whether the plug is inserted properly, if not, insert the plug to ensure that the plug is fully inserted into the switch.
Step 3: Check whether there is a dark break inside the power cord of the hair dryer, and whether the inner welding of the hair dryer handle is de-soldered. If these situations occur, quickly repair or replace the power cord. If there is a problem with the handle, you need to disassemble the handle to re-solder the solder joints.
Step 4: Check whether the selector switch is seriously oxidized, and whether there is poor contact or breakage. The switch needs to be rubbed and replaced if any. 02 The hair dryer only generates heat and no wind
The general phenomenon of this situation is: the heating wire of the hot air gear is hot, but the motor does not rotate, and the front tube is hot but there is no hot air.
Step 1: Check whether the lead wire of the blower motor is desoldered or broken. If there is, the lead wire of the motor needs to be welded.
Step 2: Check whether the switch that controls the motor is blackened or seriously oxidized to see if it is a switch problem. If so, replace the motor switch.
Step 3: Check whether the motor frame or the fan blade is deflected, displaced or deformed due to collision, which will result in no hot air output, and the fan blade needs to be replaced.
Step 4: Check whether there is any debris between the motor spindle and the rotor. Generally, debris will cause the blades of the blower to not rotate. If so, clean up the clutter.
Step 5: Check whether the motor spindle and rotor are touching, if so, disassemble and re-install the two positions.
3 The hair dryer is windy but not hot
The phenomenon of this situation is: the hot air gear motor works normally, but the heating wire is not hot, only cold air is blown out.
Step 1: Check whether the lead-out part of the heating wire is off or broken.
Step 2: Whether the switch that controls the hot air is in poor contact, if so, replace the hot air switch.
Step 3: Check whether the heating wire is burned out. If the heating wire is burned out, you should immediately replace the heating wire or find a way to connect it.
