Induction motor refers to a kind of electromagnetic induction between the rotor, induction current in the rotor to achieve electromechanical energy conversion motor. The stator of the induction motor consists of three parts: stator core, stator winding and hub.

The rotor consists of rotor iron core, rotor winding and rotating axis.

The stator of the induction motor consists of three parts: stator core, stator winding and hub. The stator core is a part of the main magnetic circuit. In order to reduce the eddy current and hysteresis loss of the exciting current and rotating magnetic field in the core, the core is made of 0.5mm thick silicon steel sheets. Motor with large capacity, both sides of the silicon steel sheet coated with insulation paint as the chip insulation. Small stator cores are stacked and pressed with silicon steel sheet and fixed in the chassis; medium and large stator cores are made of fan-shaped sheets. In the stator core circle, there are many grooves of the same shape to insert the stator winding. Small induction motors usually use semi-closed grooves and a single layer (loose down) winding made of high strength enameled wire, with groove insulation between the coil and the core. The semi-closed groove can reduce the magnetic resistance of the main magnetic circuit, reducing the excitation current, but the embedding is less convenient. Medium-sized induction motors usually use half-open grooves. Large high-voltage induction motors all use open slots. To facilitate line embedding. In order to obtain better electromagnetic performance, medium and large induction motors adopt double-layer short distance winding
