Xu Shaoshan believes that in addition to the high price of high-efficiency motors, there is another deep reason: about 80% of the motors are used as supporting equipment for fans, pumps and air compressors. Equipment manufacturers are not the end users of the products, they are more concerned about the price of the product than the level of energy efficiency. “For a long time, the motor is a typical price-oriented product, and the price has played a leading role, while the efficiency level of the motor is in a secondary position, or even not considered at all. This is also the enthusiasm of enterprises to produce high-efficiency motors. The main reason for the low market share of high-efficiency motors," Xu Shaoshan said.
In addition to affirming the above viewpoints, Zhao Yuejin also believes that the current price level of industrial electricity in China is not very high, and end users lack sufficient understanding and understanding of the economics of the purchase cost and operating cost of high-efficiency motors throughout their life cycle. Its enthusiasm for the purchase of high-efficiency motors has resulted in high-efficiency motors not being used by users in large quantities.
Other factors that have to be considered are that the replacement of the motor by the enterprise may affect the continuity of the production; the change of the size of the new and old motors affects the matching of the motor and the equipment; there is a synergistic cost between the motor procurement department and the use department; Replacement troubles, lack of power, etc.
