"If the overall efficiency of China's motor system is increased by 5%, the annual energy savings will be equivalent to the power generation of one or two Three Gorges power stations," said Zhao Yuejin, the main drafter of China's high-efficiency motor national standards.

The scope of implementation of the product Huimin project has made the market promotion of high-efficiency motors attract much attention.
The embarrassing situation is that although high-efficiency motors have been promoted for many years, high-efficiency motors are not fully integrated into the market. At present, the proportion of high-efficiency motors is still relatively low. "China's high-efficiency motor research and development is basically in sync with the international level. In recent years, the technological progress has been very optimistic, especially in terms of motor efficiency and foreign countries. But unfortunately, the IE3 motor produced in our country is used too little, most of them. Used for export." Academician Tang Renyuan, a well-known domestic motor expert, said. According to statistics from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the proportion of high-efficiency motors in domestic motors is only about 5%.
Fortunately, this issue has received the attention of the state. The National Motor Energy Efficiency Improvement Plan, which is being implemented, is planned to take three years to improve the energy efficiency of the national motor and promote the transformation and upgrading of the motor industry.
